I had been a photographer for several years when my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. I tried many times to get our family together for a portrait, but our schedules never allowed it. Sadly, my mom passed away before that moment arose.
As I take portraits of other families, I wish I could go back and take one last portrait of my mom. I realize now that anytime during that last year would’ve been perfect.
When I create a portrait for you, it’s not just about creating beautiful art, It’s about preventing the same regrets I experience. It’s about increasing a child’s self-esteem because it’s been proven in psychological studies that having a family portrait in the home helps children feel more connected. It helps them to know they are important in their family. It’s about giving today’s generation something to hold when we are gone because life is more than what’s happening on social media. It’s about creating moments because moments create memories and it is those memories that make up a life.
What better way to showcase those moments, your legacy, than with an original fine art portrait?
